We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a drive for social impact to lead our growing Analytics team and hit the ground running, quickly getting to grips with the technical detail of how we measure success of a greenfield organisation set up at pace. As the Performance Measurement & Analytics Lead, you will define the strategy and delivery model for producing KPIs and measuring success that will inform the Executive Committee, policy and operational leads, other IBCA functions and across the UK government about how we get it right for the infected blood community.
You will own and iterate the Performance Framework as the organisation evolves and work with Boards and teams at all levels to define and report against specific KPIs and measures across both the operational and digital elements of the service and the wider organisation. You will provide visible strategic and technical leadership to the analytics team, confidently leading on performance measurement and supporting your people to decide upon and implement technical solutions and monitor the performance of the organisation. You’ll build a close relationship with and understanding of IBCA business areas, in order to ensure that performance reporting is accurate and informative and supports the challenging and critical work of the organisation.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with Internal and External stakeholders to ensure success measures align with the organisation’s strategic objectives
- Understand tracking capabilities and identify the gaps
- Team leadership and management to a group of analysts
Performance Frameworks: experience of developing KPIs and Performance Frameworks for an organisation.
Excellent leadership skills: Proven track record of delivery in a technical leadership role with significant experience in an analytics role.
Communication & engagement: Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and significant experience in senior customer and stakeholder engagement; with a clear demonstration of an ability to communicate often complex technical detail to colleagues and leadership at all levels.
Critical thinking mindset: Strong ability to filter and synthesize large amounts of information to produce clear, logical and concise statements of information and present this in clear and accessible formats to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Digital Analysis: experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide insight into the performance of digital services using multiple data sources, including digital analytics and qualitative data.
Additional information: A minimum 60% of your working time should be spent at your principal workplace. Although requirements to attend other locations for official business will also count towards this level of attendance.
