Infact are leading innovation in the UK credit data market as the first real-time credit bureau. We are a scale-up on a mission to power better lending with accurate, real-time credit information and analytics through modern, API-first solutions. All this directly impacts the ability for consumers to access financial services at scale.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a product-focused full stack engineer to help us build and scale the B2B SaaS experience our partners rely on. This is a frontend-led role: you’ll spend most of your time crafting a fast, clean Svelte (TypeScript) UI, and you’ll work across the stack into the Go API services behind it. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll join a small, collaborative, and highly productive engineering team where you’ll have real ownership over what you ship - from interface to API. This is a flexible, mid-level role: the scope and responsibilities will grow with the experience you bring.

We set a high bar for code quality, design taste, and delivery, and we make deliberate, responsible use of modern AI tooling. We view AI as an enabling assistant that supports - never replaces - engineering judgement, review, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and own our B2B SaaS UX for partners in Svelte and TypeScript – fast, accessible, and built with taste.
  • Work across the stack, ideally contributing to the Go API services and AWS infrastructure that power the product.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and architecture of our services and interfaces, with a bias to action.
  • Demonstrate high standards of quality, ownership, security, and taste in everything you ship.
  • Make deliberate, effective use of AI tooling to raise both the quality and the pace of work.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Commercial software engineering experience with real strength in frontend development - we use Svelte with TypeScript (experience with React or a similar modern framework is fine if you’re ready to pick up Svelte).
  • A working knowledge of Go, or the appetite and ability to become productive in it quickly - Go is a smaller but genuinely useful part of this role.
  • Experience with secure AWS infrastructure, containers, and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in modern CI/CD practices - we use GitHub Actions.
  • A passion for problem-solving, constructive feedback, and continuous learning, with a strong bias to action.
  • Fintech, credit, or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid & Flexible: Work from home with the flexibility to meet in our central London office 2-3 days per week.
  • Collaborative Team: Engage in debates, collaboration, and innovation with a team that values your input.

Why Infact?

  • Attractive Benefits: Enjoy 25 days of paid holiday, flexible working arrangements, flexible bank holidays, unlimited unpaid leave, and employer pension contributions.
  • Real Ownership: Own features end-to-end across the front and back end – no layers between you and the CTO, no committees gatekeeping decisions.
  • Growth Opportunities: Access technical training, AWS certification, and feature ownership to advance your career.
  • Healthy Living: Participate in our cycle-to-work scheme.

Join Us:

Be part of a company that values diversity and inclusivity. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status.
