Overview

A cross‑discipline role covering all elements of the supply chain with a bias towards logistics and customer services.

Key to securing the long‑term development of the supply chain function within INEOS Compounds. 4‑year contract with possibility of a permanent role upon completion.

What You’ll Do

Provide support to the whole supply chain team and assist in day‑to‑day running of the department with the aim of becoming a key team member in the supply of information to the wider business.

The role is divided as follows

  • Logistics Management (25%): liaising with transport companies, preparing despatch paperwork and managing issues as they arise.
  • Customer Service (25%): liaising with customers, raising and managing customer orders.
  • Administrative (20%): report preparation, KPI reporting, management support.
  • Planning & Procurement Support (20%): raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers.
  • Stock Control (10%): report preparation and transactions in SAP.

Key performance indicators include additional transport costs, stock accuracy, OTIF, master data accuracy and claims management.

Assist in daily, weekly and monthly supply chain meetings.

Training Outcome

4‑year contract with possibility of a permanent role if training and performance objectives are met and staffing levels allow recruitment.

Course: Supply chain leadership professional (integrated degree) (Level 6). Route: Transport and logistics. Apprenticeship Level: Degree.

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Monday – Thursday, 9.00am – 5.00pm; Friday, 9.00am – 4.30pm. 30‑minute unpaid break. Flexibility required dependent on business needs. Expected Duration: 4 Years.
