ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
This position within our Finance function is required to assist our team through a busy period. The successful candidate will support the Operational, Commercial & Finance teams by providing financial analysis, planning and forecasting of financial results to ensure their integrity.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide accurate and timely monthly finance reports to key customers.
- Support the Finance team to translate the annual plan and budget into financial and non-financial targets to ensure that the plan can be monitored at all levels.
- Participate in the process to produce the monthly operational financial forecast to provide the latest view on the predicted results for the year and/or next 3 months.
- Support the Finance team to review and challenge the forecast inputs provided by functional managers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the forecast and to improve the forecast accuracy.
- Provide commentary and explanations on variances to Budget for specific financial categories with the P&L to ensure a clear understanding of the results.
- Develop and maintain an approach of continuous improvement to financial management and business process issues to ensure maximum value is added to business decision-making processes.
- Goods receipting of purchase orders after relevant checks are conducted.
- Support the Business Controller on all Government Grant applications.
ABOUT YOU
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Finance / Accountancy / Business qualification e.g. HNC/HND with/or significant experience working in a Finance function.
- Part Qualified (later stages) or Fully Qualified Accountant.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A working knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.

- Pro-active approach.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
