This role of an Operations Specialist ensures the smooth operation of end-to-end processes by managing energy sales contracts, monitoring compliance, minimising risk, and driving operational efficiency. It combines administrative precision, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance to support the business in achieving its revenue goals while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key activities include:

  • Monitoring energy sales contracts, assessing risks, and providing ongoing feedback to the Enterprise Sales team.
  • Processing energy contracts through Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure contracts align with Finance team requirements.
  • Overseeing the successful transfer of energy contracts to supply and ensuring they achieve ‘go-live’ status.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a support or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with complaint resolution processes and ability to effectively manage complaints.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (not essential).
  • Knowledge of the energy industry and energy supplier processes (not essential).
  • Experience using call recording software and Access Database (desired).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong proof-reading capabilities.
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks, GDPR regulations, and regulatory standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Adaptable and capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
