Position
Weβre looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. This role involves supporting the preparation of monthly Board reporting, annual budgets, and regular reforecasts. You will also manage tax matters, lead the external audit and statutory accounts process, and drive process and reporting improvements using tech solutions.
You should be technically strong, a confident communicator, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and external partners, so clarity in presenting financial information is key.

Requirements
- ACA qualified with audit experience and up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP
- Strong organisational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines
- Committed team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
- Able to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding the implications of business decisions and awareness of strategic objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
- Innovative thinker with an eye for tech-based process improvements

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service
Hybrid working: Must be able to commute to our Lytham office 2 days per week
