Refrigeration Engineer – Field Based – £43,000 – £45,000 This a field-based role covering the Portsmouth/Bournemouth/Southampton area and a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most dynamic refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning service providers in Europe. Role Responsibilities: * Carrying out refrigeration, reactive and proactive work in line with our client’s Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators * Collecting and fitting parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer * Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns * Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control * Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner * Working safely in line with health and safety procedures You will need: * Experience working on; refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning and building controls, food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical, and fabric repairs * A ‘F-GAS 2079 Refrigeration Handling’ qualification * CO2 experience * Basic HVAC experience desirable * An excellent attitude and approach to work * Highly self-reliant, motivated and enthusiastic * Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills * Commitment to quality and attention to detail In return our client is offering an extensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: * Company Van with free Private Fuel * 22 days holiday, rising incrementally to 25, plus bank holidays * Excellent Pension Scheme * Private Medical Insurance * Income Protection Insurance * Life cover x 2 salary * Family-Friendly Leave * Introducer Scheme
