Our project engineers take a project from a concept and develop it into a reality, taking a project through the feasibility, development and construction stages. Understanding our client’s objectives and engineering for efficiency to deliver the optimum output, with the least resource to achieve the greatest returns.

Responsibilities:
- Takes projects from survey through to mobilisation delivering high quality engineered solutions at best value for our clients and our company.
- Designs solar systems, using appropriate design software, balancing the requirement to deliver the best project as efficiently as possible to generate the optimum output.
- Produces engineering drawings for the Feasibility, Preliminary, Construction & As-built project stages.
- Understanding the supply chain to select appropriate / available equipment and materials.
- Can undertake detailed site surveys on clients’ premises and produces detailed reports.
- Analyses energy consumption and generation data and combines it with relevant financial data to create compelling business cases.
- Coordinates external partner project development activities, e.g., grid applications, connection agreements, planning applications and commissioning documentation.
Requirements:
- Solar design experience (Commercial and Industrial) Min 3 years. Experience relevant to position.
- Solar software experience such as SolarEdge Designer, PVSOL, AutoCAD, Trimble etc.
- Electrical design experience (Schematics, cable calcs etc).
- Mechanical design experience (Mounting Kit etc).
- Valid driving license and a willingness to travel as and when required.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
