Role Overview

This role is ideal for a Marketing Executive with around 3 years’ experience who enjoys executing a defined marketing plan, creating and optimising content, and using data to understand what’s working. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver an established content and campaign calendar, support sales activity through targeted e‑marketing, and ensure all content is optimised for SEO and geographic relevance. You’ll be hands‑on, organised, and confident managing multiple pieces of activity at once, with the ability to brief designers clearly and effectively. Responsibilities

  • Execute an established marketing and content calendar across digital channels.
  • Create and optimise SEO‑ and GEO‑focused content for web, email, and social.
  • Support lead‑generation and e‑marketing campaigns.
  • Produce and update sales and marketing materials, briefing designers as needed.
  • Manage website content updates via CMS and ensure messaging accuracy.
  • Track, report, and analyse content and campaign performance to inform optimisation.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team and sales function to support commercial objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Around 3 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally in energy, solar, sustainability, utilities, or a B2B environment (or strong transferable experience).
  • Strong content writing and editing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO and targeted content.
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns and content calendars.
  • Comfortable with email marketing platforms and CMS systems.
  • Confident briefing designers and working with creative resources.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
