Rains are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the London team with the brand’s wholesale activities in the UK and Ireland. This position reports to the Country Manager, UK and IRE. You will gain a valuable and extensive ‘all-round’ insight into running a business in the fashion industry. You will be a part of a small team working closely with the Sales, Finance and Administrative functions of the business. There is also scope to learn about the PR and Retail functions if desired.
Location: London, E9 (Hackney Wick) - Office based, with some flexibility and travel.
What You Can Expect:
- Manage the administrative tasks directly related to the wholesale business, such as order entry, managing PO processes, customer requests and returns / claims processes.
- Communicate with wholesale customers regarding ordering and delivery processes.
- Liaise with our logistics and warehouse teams in Denmark (Head Office) to ensure we are delivering to wholesale customers efficiently and compliantly.
- Help ‘own’ the finance function in the team.
- Monitor payments and communicate with wholesale customers regarding outstanding invoices.
- Assist the Sales Managers with store visits and visual merchandising.
- Assist with seasonal sales appointments in the showroom when necessary.
- Manage inbound and outbound samples for PR and wholesale activities.
Your Profile:
- Undergraduate student undertaking a Business-related or Fashion-related course.
- Passion for the fashion industry.
- Self-motivated and target driven.
- Excellent organisational, communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable using Microsoft Office Excel functionality.
- Basic understanding of accounting practices preferred but not required.
- Happy to travel domestically and internationally.
