About the division

Technology underpins Deutsche Bank’s entire business and is changing and shaping the way we engage, interact, and transact with our stakeholders, internally and externally. Our Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) strategy is strengthening our engineering expertise, introducing an agile delivery model, and is modernising the bank\'s IT infrastructure with long-term investments and taking advantage of cloud computing. We are building a team of visionary technology talent that will ensure that we thrive in this period of unprecedented change for the industry. About the role

Your four-day programme starts with an introduction to Technology, Data & Innovation in banking. Led by expert trainers, you will learn how financial markets work and get to know more about the way Deutsche Bank operates.

There will be multiple opportunities to practice and develop your soft skills such as networking, presenting and interviewing.

Spring into Banking is a programme that not only recognizes your talent but also rewards it. By becoming a part of our bank, you’re becoming part of a diverse and inclusive network that will continue to support you for the rest of your career.

Successful students may have the opportunity to be considered for Deutsche Bank’s Technology, Data & Innovation Internship Programme in Summer 2027.

What we look for

To apply for our Spring into Banking Programme you must be in the first year of your undergraduate studies, or your second year of a four-year course.

We recruit highly intelligent students who are ambitious and adaptable. They are studying for degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. We have very comprehensive training programmes that will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us. Above all, we’re looking for entrepreneurial people who thrive best in a diverse culture where innovation and agile thinking abound.

  • You should not only be passionate about the world of finance, but also show a keen interest in your chosen field.
  • You already have a record of outstanding academic achievement and you’re eager to go on learning at the same intensive rate.
  • You’ll thrive on working in a highly collaborative environment with some of the best minds in banking.

Whilst we are unable to sponsor visas for this programme, if you are currently studying in the UK on a Tier 4 Student visa, you must ensure your terms and conditions although for non-term time working. You may be required to show this to a member of the Early Careers Team.
