Register Your Interest – 2026 Asset Management General Industrial Placement Are you interested in a career in Asset Management? Would you like to experience working for a large scale and diversified asset manager with over a trillion dollars in invested assets? We’re looking for candidates who would like to experience working at UBS Asset Management for 12 months prior to returning to university for their final year of study. At UBS Asset Management, you will join our global team of around 3,500 experts, working alongside portfolio managers and product specialists across traditional and alternative asset classes as well as client relationship managers, analysts, and risk managers. You would have the opportunity to: Get to know our client base, understand and help service our clients\’ strategic objectives Learn UBS asset management products and services and assist with portfolio management Develop marketing materials, global content, and campaigns aimed at attracting new clients and investment Find, evaluate, and manage different investments through analysis, research, and modelling Integrate sustainable investing into UK Asset Management Enhance business processes and perform strategic project work Your expertise: You should be completing the Industrial Placement program as part of your studies and then graduating in 2027. You should also be on track for a 2:1. We welcome diverse mindsets, so regardless of your degree subject, whether you have a background in finance, data, tech, law, or history, if you have a knack for languages, you can find your place with us. We’re looking for evidence that you have skills such as: Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Organisational skills Communication skills Innovation Collaboration Project management Proactivity Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Your program: This placement will last 12 months, where you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients, and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues and taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way.
