About the Role
Industrious is entering a major growth phase across Europe. In 2026, we expect to open 5–10 new locations across the UK and EU, with further expansion beyond that. Building on Industrious’ track record of successful launches in Europe, we’re looking for a Launch Operations Project Manager to help scale and strengthen our Launch capability as we accelerate expansion. This role sits at the heart of our growth strategy in Europe. You’ll own the launch roadmap, drive cross-functional accountability (Sales, Marketing, Real Estate, Legal, Facilities, People), and help design and scale the launch operating model that will underpin Industrious’ European expansion. This is not a hand-off project coordination role. You’ll build the launch playbook while running it, thrive in the pace and complexity of launching new locations, and shape how Industrious scales in Europe for years to come.
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end Launch program for new Industrious locations.
- Lead each location launch from lease signature through opening day and post-launch stabilisation.
- Build and manage launch plans, timelines, and milestones across all functions.
- Drive clarity and accountability across Sales, Marketing, Facilities, Legal, People, and external vendors, often without direct authority.
- Surface risks early, unblock issues, and escalate when needed.
- Drive pre-sales readiness and commercial outcomes.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop tailored pre-sales strategies for each launch and market.
- Hold teams accountable for pre-sales milestones that drive opening occupancy and revenue performance.
- Build tracking and reporting frameworks to give leadership real-time visibility into launch readiness and commercial performance.
- Be on the ground when it matters.
- Travel to launch sites to support pre-opening activities and launch execution.
- Coordinate on-site readiness, including vendor management and physical space setup, when required.
- Design and scale Europe’s launch operating model.
- Design the launch playbook, tools, checklists, and governance structures.
- Introduce modern project management tooling and best practices.
- Develop scalable systems and automation that enable Europe to grow efficiently with strong operational leverage.
Who this role is for
You are a builder-operator: someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys creating structure in fast-growing environments. You’re comfortable operating without perfect data, established processes, or complete clarity. You can zoom out strategically and dive into execution, sometimes within the same hour. You influence senior stakeholders, drive accountability, and push teams to deliver. You move quickly and decisively, using sound judgement to prioritise what matters most, while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and execution quality.
This role is probably not for you if…
- You prefer predictable days and fully defined processes.
- You’re uncomfortable leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
- You dislike ambiguity or building frameworks in evolving environments.
- You’re unwilling to travel or engage directly in operational execution when required.
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years in operations, expansion, launch, or project management, ideally in multi-site or physical-asset businesses (hospitality, retail, flex office, real estate, network businesses).
- Proven experience launching new locations, products, or complex operational initiatives.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capability.
- Demonstrated experience building processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments with limited oversight.
- Willingness to travel across Europe (up to ~50%).
- Experience with modern PM tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Notion, etc.) is a plus.
Why this role matters
Europe is a strategic growth market for Industrious. How we launch locations directly impacts revenue, member experience, and brand perception. This role will define how Industrious scales in Europe. Not just execute launches, but build the system behind them. If you want ownership, ambiguity, and the chance to build a critical growth capability inside a high-growth company, this is the role.
