Industrious Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced VNA Driver / Manual Handler to join a busy warehouse operation. This role involves operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck to safely move stock throughout the warehouse, alongside manual handling duties to support the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The successful candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a VNA forklift truck safely and efficiently to move stock within the warehouse.
  • Load, unload, transport, and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick orders accurately using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners where applicable.
  • Carry out manual handling duties, including lifting, moving, and stacking products safely.
  • Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations are accurately maintained.
  • Complete daily equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
  • Assist with goods in, goods out, stock replenishment, and inventory checks.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily productivity and customer service targets.
  • Support other warehouse duties as required by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Skills & Experience

  • Valid, in-date VNA Forklift Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
  • Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience of manual handling and general warehouse duties.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to support other warehouse functions when required.
