We are looking for a Streetworks Administrator to support delivery teams and ensure works are effectively planned, managed, and delivered in line with permit requirements and compliance standards.

You will play a key role in coordinating streetworks activities, managing notices and permits, liaising with stakeholders, and helping to minimise the risk of non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule works in line with SLAs and permit requirements
  • Manage permit and noticing systems effectively
  • Maintain accurate records and update work management systems
  • Submit, monitor, and close streetworks notices and permits
  • Respond to council comments and resolve outstanding issues
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Supervisors, local authorities, and client representatives
  • Coordinate third-party requirements, including parking suspensions, bus stop suspensions, and road closures
  • Monitor streetworks performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyse and respond to Section 74 charges and fixed penalty notices
  • Escalate compliance issues where required
  • Provide general administrative support to delivery teams
  • Ensure safety concerns are reported in line with company procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within the Utilities sector
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Streetworks legislation and statutory requirements
  • Experience managing permits/notices is highly desirable
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Full driving licence preferred
