ob Description: We are looking for a QC Assistant to join a client based in Milton Keynes. This role involves a mix of book binding, picking, and packing orders, and general support on the production line. The role of the QC Assistant is to assist in the monitoring, recording, and reporting of all production quality for a given Massmould production site. This is a key role for the site and the business as it ensures the company quality standards are maintained, and the Massmould reputation for final component quality being delivered to our customers remains high. Friday-Tuesday £14.70/ph Health and Safety; operate within and help maintain, monitor, and drive forward Health and Safety practices and ethos. Quality: assist with coordinating compliance with the BRC standard Production: monitor and ensure part and pack quality across all machines / components Continuous Improvement: contribute to ongoing continuous improvement projects Administration: monitor and maintain the upkeep all quality records. QC Assistant will be able to work with a high level of autonomy and will assist in the training of other staff. * Adherence to all quality-controlled documents, policies and procedures including SWP, SOP and WI’s * Completion of controlled documentation and production records to company standards & procedures * Effective time management, focus and communication are required. * Communicate and work with all teams including management, operators and maintenance to full traceability. * Visual inspection and record of machine output on a regular basis. * Tracing, checking and clear reporting of quality issues / component integrity. * Ensuring parts are fit for purpose and function to the individual component specification. * Assist in the completion of GMP and other site audits * Measurement of caps/containers using all the equipment used at Massmould. * Carry out daily safety checks on production machines as trained. · * Relevant experience of working in a manufacturing environment ideally injection moulded products. * Knowledge of CMM, barcode system / JDE * A logical and methodical approach to their duties * QC Assistants will be expected to support and work at all 3 Massmould sites when required
