Location: Wolverton Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: Full-time / Fixed-term / Contract Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays We are looking for experienced Fitters to join an automotive manufacturing team based in Wolverton. We are particularly interested in candidates with a hands-on trade background, including Bathroom Fitters, Kitchen Fitters, Plumbers, Mechanical Fitters, Carpenters and Multi-Skilled Tradespeople. Automotive experience is beneficial but is not essential. Candidates must be confident using hand and power tools and have good practical fitting, assembly and installation skills. Duties Fitting, assembly and installation of automotive components and interiors. Measuring, cutting and fitting materials accurately. Working with wood, GRP, plastics and metal. Using hand and power tools including drills, saws, screwdrivers, spanners and torque wrenches. Stripping, modifying and rebuilding vehicle interiors and components. Fitting panels, flooring and interior components. Cutting and fitting flooring and other materials to drawings and measurements Working from drawings, specifications and written instructions. Carrying out plumbing and pipework where required. Brazing and soldering pipework and components. Checking completed work to ensure it meets quality standards. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Ideal Candidate Candidates should have: * Strong practical fitting and assembly skills. * Experience using hand and power tools. * Good measuring skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work from drawings, plans and measurements. * Experience with cutting and fitting materials. * Plumbing, brazing or soldering experience is advantageous. * A good understanding of health and safety. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A reliable and flexible approach to work
