An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business. This role is focused on driving new business growth across the UK, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence within B2B channels.

Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, securing new accounts, and developing existing customer relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across the UK.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across target sectors.
  • Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM systems.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven track record in Business Development, New Business Sales, or Commercial roles.
  • Experience within Food & Beverage, Foodservice, Wholesale, Cash & Carry, or Food Distribution sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships at buyer and senior stakeholder level.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
