We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Scanner to join our team on a part-time basis in Leighton Buzzard. This role involves accurately picking, scanning, and preparing products for dispatch in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position is scheduled for Mondays only, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products accurately according to order lists or handheld scanner instructions
- Scan items using warehouse management systems to ensure inventory accuracy
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment
- Label products and complete basic documentation as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to use handheld scanners or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
- Physically capable of lifting and moving items and standing for extended periods
