Overview
My client is looking to appoint a Finance Manager or experienced Finance Assistant, depending on candidate experience, to join a small, close-knit team at their Leighton Buzzard office. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong accounting fundamentals and experience in a construction or project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for profit & loss (P&L) reporting
- Ledger management (nominal, purchase, sales)
- Balance sheet preparation and reconciliation
- Month-end and financial reporting
- Working closely with operational teams to support project costing and financial control
- Day-to-day finance support within a small team environment
Ideal Background
- Previous experience within the construction industry (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of P&L, ledgers, and balance sheets
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
- Experience using Integrity Evolution (finance application software) would be a major advantage
- However, candidates without Integrity Evolution experience will still be considered if they have strong transferable systems knowledge
