We are recruiting for a well-established and highly respected company based in Milton Keynes, known for our strong team culture, excellent working environment, and long-standing relationships with clients and staff alike. As part of our continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Facilities Mechanical & Electrical Fitter to work closely with our on-site facilities team. Role Overview: This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of both mechanical and electrical systems across the site. You\’ll be part of a supportive facilities team, helping ensure the site runs efficiently and safely at all times. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site facilities, including mechanical and electrical systems * Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, equipment, and systems * Assist with small installations and project work as required * Work closely with the on-site Facilities Manager and wider team to ensure minimal downtime * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards and company policies * Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used * Support general site maintenance tasks where needed Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar mechanical/electrical fitter or facilities maintenance role * Strong knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, lighting, etc.) * Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) – desirable * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills and a proactive attitude * Strong awareness of health & safety practices * Early finish every Friday (12:00pm!) * Competitive salary * Great company culture and long-term career opportunities * Excellent benefits package (including pension, holiday allowance, and more) * Free on-site parking * Stable, long-standing business with supportive leadership If you\’re looking to join a forward-thinking, friendly company where your skills will be valued and your work-life balance respected, we\’d love to hear from you
