We are currently recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a busy home appliance distribution centre in Wolverton. The role involves handling large and heavy domestic appliances, ensuring goods are moved safely and efficiently within the warehouse and loading areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload deliveries of home appliances
- Move stock around the warehouse and into racking/storage areas
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
- Complete daily safety checks on equipment
- Work effectively as part of a team on rotational shifts
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Previous forklift experience (ideally with large/bulky items)
- Good level of physical fitness (some manual handling involved)
- Ability to work rotating shifts Monday to Friday
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused
