We are currently recruiting for a Coating/Rewinding Machine Operator (m/f shifts). The coating operator is responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce finished label rolls. Previous experience running linerless coating machines is preferred, but time-served machine operators in other related areas of manufacturing or warehousing would also be considered. This hands-on position thrives in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Coating/Rewinding Machinery in a safe working manner in line with all company best practices and procedures as required to ensure production targets are met.
- Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready.
- Follow instructions and complete within a given timeline.
- Manage Silicone/Adhesive consistency during set up and operation.
- Ensure daily schedules are met.
- Complete documentation for traceability and BRC.
- Daily maintenance and care of machinery and working area to ensure that it is kept clean.
