Industrious Recruitment are seeking a Field Based Engineer to cover the Chester area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company within their field.
Duties:
- To achieve Company KPI’s of First Time Fix Rate.
- To achieve Company KPI’s for Mean Time Between Failure.
- To achieve Company KPI’s of Car Stock accuracy.
- To achieve Company KPI’s of implementation of ECR’s and TB’s.
- To achieve Company KPI’s of performing PMI’s promptly.
- To provide effective Technical Phone Support.
- To provide 1st level IT support for any products that are part of the companies customer solution.
- Work hand in hand with customer IT team to maintain and manage the customer IT solution.
- FSE’s must ensure that they introduce themselves to the senior member of the client staff at the start of each site visit.
- Confirmation of fault details / circumstances etc. must be ascertained prior to commencing work on the equipment.
- If work is required on another analyser at site being attended, then admin must be informed prior to any work taking place.
- Customer must be periodically kept informed of any changes to estimated completion time.
- You should communicate with your Regional Field Service Manager (RFSM) at least weekly to keep abreast of activity in your area.
Essential Requirements:
- Must hold a full driving licence.
- HND (HNC with relevant experience) or equivalent in electronic and mechanical engineering.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
- Exceptional technical fault-finding skills.
- The ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
- Customer focused – should strive to exceed customer requirements.
- Good and effective written and verbal communicator.
- Job flexibility & willingness to travel – support of peers and juniors throughout the UK, Ireland and Northern Ireland may be required.
- Good working knowledge in MS Windows.
- Track record of supporting IT as part of the provided solution.
- Network certification.
- General knowledge in MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
