The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.
This is a hands-on, multi-site role responsible for leading and improving health and safety performance across three UK manufacturing facilities. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and continuously improve Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, risk assessments and performance reviews.
- Lead investigations into accidents, injuries and significant near misses.
- Provide practical guidance on machine safety, guarding and LOTO/LOTOTO.
- Develop safe systems of work, corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness training.
- Coach managers and employees to improve working practices and accountability.
- Monitor performance and report progress to senior management.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
- Health and safety experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Practical knowledge of machine safety, guarding and LOTO/LOTOTO procedures.
- Experience developing Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
- Confident communication, training and stakeholder-management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites.
