Responsibilities
- Investigate non-conformances and shop-floor quality issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving.
- Support continuous improvement projects to reduce Cost of Poor Quality.
- Create and maintain customer documentation packs and quality records.
- Support maintenance and improvement of the Integrated Management System.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
- Manage corrective actions, change notes, and customer complaint investigations.
- Work cross-functionally to improve overall quality performance.
Requirements
- Experience in precision engineering, machining, or manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Collaborative approach to working across multiple departments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality management systems is beneficial.
