This is a hands-on role combining field-based service work with in-house controls and commissioning projects. You will support, maintain, and develop advanced automation systems to ensure reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for customer breakdowns and service contracts.
  • Perform diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on control systems, robotics, and automation equipment.
  • Support in-house project work including PLC programming, commissioning, and electrical integration.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide remote and emergency support.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence required.
