You will work within a rapidly growing automation business, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology. This role offers career development within a fast-moving engineering environment.## Responsibilities* Produce accurate 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.* Support concept development for bespoke machinery and robotic systems.* Ensure designs consider CE / UKCA machinery requirements.* Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams.* Apply design-for-manufacture principles across projects.* Support the wider engineering team with occasional fitting or assembly work.* Help ensure projects are delivered against agreed engineering milestones.## Requirements* Minimum 2 years’ experience in automation, machinery, or manufacturing.* Proven mechanical design experience.* Strong SolidWorks capability.* Good understanding of tolerances, engineering principles, and design for manufacture.* Willingness to contribute beyond pure design work when required.* Full, valid UK driving licence.* Experience specifying motors, drives, or actuators is desirable.* Exposure to robotics or automation projects is desirable.## How to applyIf you'd like to hear more about this role, click **Apply with CV** and a specialist recruiter will be in touch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
