Are you an experienced Production Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a highly successful international manufacturer seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to oversee a busy production and warehouse operation. This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in driving performance, developing people and delivering operational excellence.

You'll lead a team across production and warehouse functions, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and customer delivery targets are consistently achieved.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
  • Lead, motivate and develop production and warehouse personnel
  • Ensure all operations are carried out safely and in line with company procedures
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and people metrics
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor productivity, attendance, timekeeping and team performance
  • Support training and development across the team
  • Work closely with planning, operations and other departments to achieve production targets
  • Ensure smooth shift handovers and effective communication across the operation
  • Maintain high standards of workplace organisation, stock control and visual management

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience leading teams within a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Experience using production, ERP/MRP or warehouse management systems
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • FLT Licence desirable but not essential
