Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business offering long-term stability and development opportunities.
Role: Extrusion Operator
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Location: Northampton
Salary: £35,000
Duties:
- Safely operate extrusion and pelletising machinery in line with company procedures
- Load extrusion machines and remove finished products
- Set and adjust machine controls, including start-up and shutdown procedures
- Monitor production output and machine performance
- Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, and production failures
- Complete production reporting, including extrusion run times and material output
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
- Complete check sheets and defect reporting documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience with setting and operating extruders
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
