Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager who has experience running day to day business operations for a manufacturing business. This role will be responsible for managing full projects from initial orders to full completion.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on operational management experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Location: Kettering
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operational workflow
Ensure projects progress efficiently from order confirmation through to completion
Coordinate job schedules, installation dates and production priorities
Manage workloads across CAD, fabrication and installation teams
Identify potential delays, operational issues and bottlenecks, taking proactive steps to resolve them
Ensure all relevant information is available before jobs progress to the next stage
Maintain accurate job records and provide regular operational updates to senior management
Oversee outstanding and incomplete jobs, ensuring every issue is tracked, allocated and resolved through to final completion
Manage and direct a team to support them achieve targets
Oversee a full site and operation
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in an operations, project management or technical management role
Strong technical knowledge and manufacturing processes experience
Confident working knowledge of AutoCAD
Proven scheduling and workload management experience
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of technical drawings, dimensions and specifications
Experience dealing directly with customers, suppliers and installers
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience managing remedial works, complaints and incomplete projects
Understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to take ownership, follow through and ensure jobs are completed properly
