Salary : £17.79phr - £18.75phr Hours : Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 4:45pm Fri 7:30am-12pm Employment : Permanent What you'll be doing: Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
Working with Fanuc controls Carrying out online programming and making programme adjustments where required.
Working with 4-axis milling.
Setting machines, tooling and workholding to produce precision components.
Reading and working from engineering drawings.
Ensuring components are manufactured accurately and to specification.
Carrying out quality checks throughout the machining process.
Troubleshooting machining issues and making adjustments where necessary.
Working independently and using your own initiative to complete jobs efficiently.
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Milling Machinist.
A Time Served Machinist with experience in CNC milling.
Strong CNC machine tool background.
Experience with Fanuc controls.
Previous experience with 4-axis milling.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
Organised with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
Good communication skills.
