Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (Full Time, Permanent)

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a leading food manufacturing business based in Daventry.

The Role:

  • Responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production equipment and site facilities.
  • Support production teams, improve equipment reliability, and ensure all engineering activities are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is accurately recorded on the E-Maint PPM System.
  • Perform electrical fault-finding and mechanical diagnostics across production machinery and plant equipment.
  • Maintain and repair a variety of equipment including cutting, packaging, depositing and cleaning equipment.
  • Record maintenance interventions and observations in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support external contractors and technicians during maintenance and utility-related activities.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 5 Whys methodologies.
  • Support and coach production teams in carrying out machine inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Environmental, and Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
  • Previous maintenance engineering experience within a food manufacturing environment (essential).
  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
