Are you an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a background in ventilation, HVAC or building services? Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Commissioning Engineer with a client who specialise in low-energy and sustainable HVAC solutions. Our client is at the forefront of sustainable building technology and continues to invest heavily in research and development. As the business grows, they are looking for multiple experienced Commissioning Engineers to join the field-based engineering team.
Field Based looking after the South East Region
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8 hours per day (with regular overtime)
Responsibilities include:
- Commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting ventilation and HVAC products.
- Working closely with end users, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure systems are operating safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Testing ventilation and HVAC systems on customer sites.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
- Conducting system performance checks and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health & safety and quality procedures.
- Completing commissioning reports, service documentation and other required paperwork accurately.
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays where required.
Requirements:
- Strong electrical background.
- Understanding of ventilation systems and HVAC is preferable.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working independently in a field-based engineering environment.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline.
- CSCS Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification - desirable.
- Full UK driving licence - essential.
