We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing and fabrication business specialising in architectural metalwork. This is a permanent opportunity to join a skilled and experienced team working on high-quality stainless steel fabrication projects.
Location: Corby
Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 39 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components
- Work predominantly with 316L stainless steel
- Weld material typically around 3mm thickness, ranging up to 8mm
- Work from technical and fabrication drawings
- Ensure welds meet required quality and visual standards
- Support fabrication and finishing processes where required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all company quality and health & safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate Must:
- Have proven TIG welding experience within sheet metal or fabrication environments
- Have strong experience working with stainless steel sheet metal
- Be confident welding 316L stainless steel
- Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Have strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
