Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced CNC Wood Machinist to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in bespoke kitchen furniture and cabinetry.

Role: CNC Wood Machinist

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Northampton

Salary: £15 - £17 per hour (DOE)

Duties:

  • Set and operate CNC 3-axis woodworking machinery
  • Manufacture wood panel components for kitchens, cabinets, and bespoke furniture
  • Read and work from technical drawings, CAD files, and cutting lists
  • Load materials and ensure machines are running efficiently
  • Carry out quality inspections on finished components
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Previous experience setting and operating CNC 3-axis machines
  • Experience working within woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, or joinery manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Positive attitude with good organisation and communication skills
