We’re currently recruiting for experienced Industrial Sewing Machinists to join a well-established furniture manufacturing business in Preston. This is a great opportunity to join a high-quality production team, working on premium upholstered furniture with strong earning potential.
You’ll be operating industrial sewing machines, working with a range of materials including heavier fabrics, and producing high-quality finished components to specification while working towards production targets.
We’re looking for candidates with at least 2 years’ experience using industrial sewing machines, who are confident working with different materials and take pride in delivering quality work. A reliable, team-focused attitude and the ability to work to deadlines are key.
The role offers £13.50 per hour during training, with a piecework bonus available once fully trained, giving the opportunity to earn up to £19.00 per hour based on output and performance. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity, working Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:30pm with the potential for an early finish on Fridays. Part‑time hours may also be considered.
