Industrial Vision & Metrology Systems Ltd merges the expertise of Industrial Vision Systems (IVS) and Sempre, an expert in measurement and metrology, to deliver smart manufacturing solutions.
The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for supporting service engineers and external customers by coordinating service activities, ensuring timely delivery of documentation, and maintaining high-quality service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level service support to Customer Service Engineers and external customers.
- Interface with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Customer Support/Sales, and Marketing.
- Create and maintain service information within the IVMS CRM.
- Coordinate with Engineers to ensure final documentation is available after service visits.
- Schedule in-house repairs in a timely manner.
- Raise service cases and coordinate the service team to ensure resources, calibration artefacts and spare parts are available, delivering cost-effective service.
- Handle customer calls and issues from field service visits in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records promptly.
- Make sound decisions, and exercise effective IT and communication skills.
- Encourage and motivate teammates, demonstrating responsibility and a positive attitude.
- Apply practical judgment to work priorities.
- Use MS Office suite, especially Excel.

- Support and approachability within the customer service team; promote openness and honesty.
- Operate within the organization’s policies and handbook.
- Follow broad guidelines set by the Service Team Leader.
- Collectively responsible for Customer Service under the Service Team Leader’s direction.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in a customer service background.
- Highly organized and motivated to deliver best service.
- Sets high personal standards, assuming responsibility and accountability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, reporting to management.
- Can manage several tasks simultaneously, work well under pressure, handle stress appropriately.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products and CRM software.
