Warehouse Operative – Student Part Time

The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important part in making sure our customers receive the right products, on time and in excellent condition.
Your role will include:
- Working with the ‘Works Order’ team, processing stock for locating in the warehouse
- Locating incoming stock within the warehouse
- Replenishing picking locations from bulk stock
- Carrying out stock takes and helping to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Working as part of a wider warehouse team to keep orders and stock moving efficiently
No previous warehouse experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. What matters most is that you are reliable, hardworking and take pride in doing a good job.
The Candidate
We're looking for people who:
- Are motivated, hardworking and keen to learn and develop
- Take pride in their work and have a good eye for accuracy
- Work well as part of a team
- Communicate well and are comfortable raising issues when something doesn't look right
- Can work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Have a positive attitude and are willing to get stuck in
The warehouse is 152,000 sq ft, so the role involves a significant amount of walking and being on your feet throughout the day. You should therefore be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
Hours
The warehouse operates between:
Mon-Fri: 08:00 – 22:00
Sat-Sun: 08:00 – 17:00
All part-time hours will be considered, working a minimum of 4hr shifts.
Pay & Progression
18 and Over- £12.90 Per Hour
A 15% unsociable hours supplement is also paid for all hours worked after 20:00.
