Our Client, is seeking Spray Painters to join their team based in Maghera.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting.
- Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula.
- Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition.
- Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors.
- Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications.
- Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes.
- Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment.
- Follow company requirements.
- Responsible for material and minor maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience spraying Furniture.
- Proficient in operating and adjusting spray guns, understanding pressure settings, and knowing how to maintain and clean equipment is essential.
- A good understanding of how to prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats - there are vital for a quality finish.
- A good Understanding of different types of paints and coatings, their properties, and how they interact with various surfaces is important.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Good Manual Dexterity.
- Have good communication and able to follow instructions.
- Have a willingness to work overtime, evenings and weekends as required.
