Our client, a leading manufacturer of bailing twine, is looking for a number of Production Operatives to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a variety of activities within the production process.
- Enable production requirements to be met in the most effective and efficient manner and ensure orders are met on time.
- Work within the internal quality system ensuring that a high standard of production is maintained through to finished product stage.
- Maintain quality records where required and carry out regular inspection duties.
- Operate the machinery lines.
- Carry out routine operational checks and undertake any basic maintenance on machinery within the guidelines of the supervisor.
- Monitor the operation of automatic and semi-automatic machines involved in the manufacturing process.
- Pack finished goods in appropriate storage containers and ensure goods are properly weighed, labelled, packaged, and stored.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a relevant sector (Production/Engineering/Plastics).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
