Industrial Temps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in Armagh.If you have excellent customer service skills and want to be a part of a dynamic and growing industry, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- You\’ll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
- You\’ll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries.
- The role will be physically demanding, where you\’ll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
- Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points held for a minimum of 1 year.
- Working outdoors in all weathers is required.
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
