We are seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor for our client, a gluten free bakery that supplies most of their produce to America and Australia based in Crossmaglen.
Responsibilities
- To ensure correct and efficient set up of production lines including pre start check paperwork are completed in full.
- To work towards Production KPI in relation to output, waste and cost.
- To organize ingredients and packaging required to fulfil production orders and volume.
- To execute the manager/supervisor\’s production plan adhering to allergen running orders set out by the manager/supervisor.
- To check that product, meet company requirements and customer specification.
- To complete quality and production documentations as required.
- To train new employees and agency workers on department specifics.
- To implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace and lead by example.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to lead by example and be comfortable coaching those who are not achieving the standards expected.
- Confident and clear verbal communication skills.
- Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, hygiene team, to ensure all aspects of duties carried out.
- Ability to do all tasks to the highest standards with an ability to inspire others to do the same.
- At least 12 months of practical hands-on experience in food manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of word and excel are essential.
- Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.
Further Information
Work times – 7am – 7pm.
