Our client based in Ballymena is seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers to join their successful and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business that provides essential milk collection and delivery services within the dairy industry.As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for collecting milk from local dairy farms along scheduled routes and delivering to end customers or processing facilities, while maintaining a high standard of service and product integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Collect milk from dairy farms according to a set route plan.
  • Deliver milk to processing facilities and/or customers.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork with accuracy.
  • Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Be willing to undertake secondary haulage of milk to various locations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including early starts and weekends.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
