Our client, a UK-based engineering and manufacturing company that specialises in designing, building and servicing conveyor systems and related equipment for industrial applications, are seeking Production Operatives to join their growing team, based in Crumlin. The company offers light-duty and heavy-duty conveyor solutions, including bespoke automated systems, modular conveyors and a full range of conveyor components such as belts, rollers and tracking systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, fabrication and mechanical fit-out of conveyor and material handling products.
- Support production processes including material handling, machining prep, component fitting and quality checks.
- Load, unload and organise parts, equipment and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organised work areas and adhere to company health & safety procedures.
- Assist other departments (e.g., paint, welding, assembly, dispatch) as required.
- Help with general workshop tasks such as measuring, drilling, cutting and basic fabrication.
Skills and Qualifications
- Willingness to take direction and learn new tasks.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment and follow health & safety guidelines.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and basic machinery.
