Our client Relinea, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of bespoke GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) products including platforms, walkways, handrails, stair systems and industrial flooring, are seeking a GRP Fabricator to join their team on a Permanent basis, based in Crumlin. Their lightweight, corrosion-resistant systems are used across construction, water/wastewater, rail and power sectors. Responsibilities
- Fabrication and assembly of GRP platforms, walkways and stair systems.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Measuring, marking out and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Cutting and shaping materials to specification.
- Using power tools safely and efficiently.
- Working closely with production and installation teams.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication or a similar hands-on trade (e.g. joinery, fitter, metal fabrication, construction fabrication).
- Ability to read technical drawings and work from measurements.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Competent in using power tools including:
- Chop saws.
- Drills.
- Jigsaws.
- Grinders.
