Working closely with operational and sales teams in delivery and pre‑sales, the role will guide and develop the solutions that ITS provides. As part of the role, the Technical Specialist will develop a team of engineers to deliver complex solutions in the areas of both OT Cyber and Power, with key skills in certifications such as IEC 62443 and IEC 61850.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Technical Leadership
- Act as the technical lead for cyber security across all of ITS and support engineering teams and customers with subject matter expertise.
- Act as the technical lead for Transmission and Distribution related work supporting operational delivery with emphasis on high‑voltage capability.
- Ensure compliance with standards and best practice.
- Support FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and fault‑finding.
- Provide technical assurance and reviews.
- Build and develop a team of engineers to deliver power sector projects.
- Support pre‑sales and solution development.
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Mentor engineers and support skills development.
- Provide technical consultancy to colleagues and customers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
