The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role perfect for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of industrial mechanical systems, with a specific focus on fuel infrastructure (pumps, tanks, and pipework).
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on fuel pumps, storage tanks, and associated pipework.
- Fault Finding: Diagnose mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for our critical clients.
- Project Work: Assist in the installation of new fuel management systems and mechanical infrastructure.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out to high safety standards (including MoD and industry-specific regulations) and complete necessary documentation accurately.
- Travel: Travel to client sites across Scotland (company vehicle provided).
About You

Essential:
- Time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification (HNC/HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Full UK Driving License (Essential).

- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
Desirable (Training can be provided):
- Experience with fuel pumps, hydraulics, or pneumatic systems.
- SPA Passport / CSCS Card.
- COMPEX or OFTEC certifications.
