ISI is seeking talented Pipe Welders for the Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical Industries. The Pipe Welder is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install sanitary piping and tube systems, mainly for the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries. This position requires someone with extensive sanitary process piping experience. A successful candidate must have the ability to travel for extended periods of time, work weekends, and overtime as necessary. Applicants should live in the York/Harrisburg/Allentown/Lancaster area and be willing to travel.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Pipe Welding, minimum 5 years
- Repair, maintain, and install sanitary piping and tubing systems, for the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries
- Fabricate tanks and structural supports, and weld high pressure lines and pressure vessels
- Perform installations or replacements of piping systems, and related equipment
- Rigging experience is a plus
- Provide your own hand tools (the tools of the trade)
- Pass a 6g weld test
- Have a current valid driver's license, with a safe driving record
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Be willing to travel for extended periods of time, work weekends, and overtime as necessary
*ISI schedules and pays for hotel rooms; per diem is $59 per day*
Success Criteria & Measurement
- Performs all work in a timely manner as designated by the Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager
- Accurately completes projects, paperwork, and timesheets, submitting items as required
- Safely uses all equipment, such as welding guns, tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.
- Effectively communicates with the Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager, Customers, and other team members verbally, through text, or email
- Works with limited supervision and in a clean and organized manner
- Maintains professional conduct at all times, particularly when at customer sites
