We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton. This is a permanent day shift opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience using Fanuc controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC machines using Fanuc controls
- Produce precision-engineered components to specification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings
- Monitor machining processes and inspect finished components for quality
- Make program adjustments and offsets where required
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
